Q: Is my order really a catering order?
  A: Think more about what you’re spending rather than how many people you will be serving. Here at Menu-247, a catering order starts at about $150, plus sales tax and delivery charge.
   
Q: I’m interested in placing a catering order with Menu-247. How do I start?
  A: First, call us and let us know all about your event. The more specifics you have, the more specific we can be about costs. Many clients are apprehensive about offering up a budget. Please think about what you want to spend per person to host your event. It saves us both time to find out if you are in our price range!

Think about these things: When is it? How many people will you have, and are there children under the age of 10 attending? Where will the event be held? Is the food being served indoors or outdoors? What time do you plan to eat? Are you going to have other food available (maybe someone’s favorite homemade appetizer or dessert?)

   
Q: I’m not sure what I want to order. Should I know what I want before talking to Menu-247?
  A: Menu-247 would be happy to provide you an array of options based on your catering needs. We’ll ask you a ton of questions first, identify what you’re after, and then provide you with a quote guided by the budget you have set. If you have a theme in mind, we’ll help you with the menu planning.
   
Q: I’m a tight budget. Can Menu-247 help out?
  A: Of course! Our restaurants and caterers have meal plans with a variety of price ranges, but the ones on our website are the most popular. Do not hesitate to call us, even with those doubts. With so many options, Menu-247 will do our very best to help you out.
   
Q: How early do I need to contact you prior to the event?
  A: The earlier the better so we can make sure the restaurant or caterer that’s best suited for you is available for your event. However, we do understand that last minute occasions do come up, so call us and we’ll do the best we can to help you out. That’s why we are called Menu-247 (24/7)!
   
Q: You say that there’s usually a delivery charge. How much will that be?
  A: Delivery charge is usually based on how much food our delivery service will bring to you, as well as the location where the food will be delivered.
   
Q: Is a driver gratuity included with the price of the food or delivery service?
  A: No. The drivers provided through Menu-247 will come in and set up the food for your event. Like serve staff at a restaurant, they always appreciate a tip when they have done a good job. If you are unsure what to tip, ask us and we can provide a recommendation.
   
Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
  A: 48 hours is normal timeframe, however for large parties (about 40 people or more) or special events, a minimum of one week is mandatory. Note: Menu-247 also requires a final headcount five days in advance for special events and large parties.
   
Q: How do we pay for the catering?
  A: All catering orders are secured on a credit card at the time the order is taken by Menu-247. We honor Visa, Master Card, American Express & Discover. Payment by credit card is not charged to your card until 24 hours prior to your event. The exception to this is large parties or weddings, where 50% is billed one week prior to the event and the balance 24 hours prior to your party.
